Museum News and Events

Check out the latest addition to the Museum’s fleet of historic vehicles.  This is a running replica of a Vicker-Armstongs Mark IV Model 1936.  This was one in a series of light tank marks built by Vickers between WW1 and WW2.  This model was nickenamed “Dutchman” as a large order was placed for them by the Dutch East Indies company.  Although never used by the Canadian Army, this is an important step in the evolution of armoured vehicles.

If you want to support your Museum, there are several ways that you can.  The most important way is to come out and visit!  However, there are other ways that you can be a part as well.  You can make a monetary donation or donate an artifact.   Of course, we are always looking for more volunteers!

The Museum is now on summer hours (7 days a week)  so check the General Admission page for opening times and dates!  Of course, the Museum can open for pre-planned group tours.  Contact: tours@tankmuseum.ca for details.
