Opening Hours

Closures and modified opening hours may occur due to special events, weather, or other factors. Please check the website homepage, the general admissions webpage for any announcements of closures or modified hours.

All exhibits are indoors in two galleries, all at ground level. Benches, wheelchairs, and walking aids are available to visitors.

Summer Hours: Canada Day – Labour Day

Open seven days a week, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Spring and Fall Hours: March Break – 30 June, 8 September – Remembrance Day

Open seven days a week, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Winter Hours: 12 November – March Break

Open Thursdays – Sundays, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Special Events or Group Tours

The Museum offers privately scheduled guided tours for school classes, Canadian Armed Forces units, corporate groups, and many other organizations. To make a booking, please contact tours@tankmuseum.ca.

The museum is located at:
1000 Stevenson Road North
Oshawa, Ontario, L1J 5P5

It is located on the south field of the Oshawa Executive Airport. The museum is only accessible from the southbound side, of the airport, via the intersection of Rossland Road and Stevenson Road.

To reach the museum from Highway 401:
Take exit 415 to Stevenson Road South and proceed north. Follow Stevenson Road North for approximately 10 minutes until it ends at the Oshawa Executive Airport South Field.

When arriving at the Oshawa Executive Airport South Field, keep left. The museum is located across from a community soccer pitch.
